Hi there hi-low
(J.crew necklace/ Urban Outfitters dress here/ Rayban cat eye sunnies/ Asos gold cuffs here/ Sam Edelman Pax bootie on sale here)
Life is kicking me in the butt right now but I’m just trying to keep my head up and know that everything works out in the end.
I’m in final two weeks of school and I then I will have a little more time to update this blog. So my posts will be extremely scarce until then. Sorry! But hey, I’m almost done with my first year of grad school! woohoo! one more year to go!
Let’s move on to the outfit shall we?! I’ve had this amazing necklace for about four years now. I bought it while I worked for J.crew for a great price and have only managed to wear it about three times. Crazy, I know. The dress is also one of my favorite pieces that I own. It’s a perfect fit, a perfect navy color and the hi-low look is really in right now.
Hope everyone is having a great weekend! please go outside and enjoy the beautiful weather for me while I’m inside writing and researching my head off.

Friday the 13th
(Hat from nastygal, denim shirt and maxi skirt from H&M, leather jacket from Vanity Room, necklace from Forever21, Gifted vintage silver and turquoise bracelet, forever21 friendship bracelet. Gifted heart ring)
This was a quick photo shoot since Friday the 13th was literally in full effect. Luckily, the sun came out for a few minutes so we got a few pictures in. We don’t get many rainy days here in LA but when we do, it pours!
It was also my boyfriend’s birthday on the 13th! such a lucky guy ;)
Hope everyone had a great weekend! xo

I love maxi skirts
(Sabo skirt top/ Threadsence skirt here/ Jeffrey Campbell Foxy Wood in black here/ gifted vintage gold necklace/ gold spike bracelet and gold cuff from Asos/ gifted gold/pink bracelet/gifted gold rings)
Celebrating spring break and the beautiful LA weather by wearing this beautiful Lush maxi skirt from Threadsence. This is a glammed up version but guaranteed you will see me dressing this skirt down in later posts. It’s one of those pieces that enables you to do both which is just my style.
A pop of color
(Chicwish collar here/ American Apparel crop top/ Zara skirt and shoes/ YSL lip gloss in No.8)
Keeping it simple with three trends...
A collar, some floral and a pop of orange on the feet and lips is all you need right now.
Saboskirt love
(Sabo Skirt top/ Zara cropped yellow skinnies/ Zara shoes/ gold cuff from Asos/ Marc by Marc Jacobs black cuff)
My spring break is off to a nice relaxing start. I went to a friend’s baby shower yesterday and since it was my first, I struggled to pick out something to wear.
I ended up wearing this off-the-shoulder top from Sabo Skirt. It has been sitting in my closet begging me to wear it and I’m so happy that I finally got a chance to. Please check out this Australian brand owned by two beautiful girls with amazing taste and follow them on Instagram @saboskirt if you are an instagrammer.
But the hit of the party ended up being my shoes from Zara. They still have a few left and added a new color! Get it here now before they are gone.
Para-para-paradise
(H&M top, Mink Pink denim shorts, Jeffrey Campbell Litas, gifted vintage Celine belt)
I’m learning to experiment with clothes I already own and spending the little money I have on staple pieces I need for spring. This flowered shirt is one of the must haves of the season and it only cost $25 from H&M.
Spring Fever
(gifted mint quartz necklace made by my mom at Shale’s Jewelry, printed dress from forever 21, Sam Edelman pax ankle boot, initial friendship bracelet from Urban Outfitters, similar here. Bag from nastygal)
My first spring outfit with… prints and colors!
