Bonjour, Paris!

Cold weather makes me want to just cuddle up all day in warm, cozy knits like this turtleneck from Largo Drive. What goes perfectly with warm and cozy? Comfy! So I put on my favorite pair of jeans and the cutest boots to date. All together, I'm warm, cozy and comfy which is the perfect combination for the holidays. I can't believe Christmas is less than a week away and then it will be a whole new year. I'm ready to go out with a bang!

The winner of my Subtle Luxury scarf giveaway is Cynthia Contreras!!! We will be contacting you shortly. Thank you to everyone who entered!

Une Fille Parisienne

Photography by Elizabeth Keene

Feeling like a french school girl in this outfit which was not actually my goal while putting it together. While looking in the mirror, I realized something about stripes, with a pop of red, paired with a hat and flats just screams, Paris! Even though I've never been, this is just what I just imagine it to be. I really must make a trip one day soon which will give me a perfect excuse to brush up on my french before I go. I want to be able to say, j'ai deux amours; mon pays et Paris!

I want to thank everyone for the lovely birthday wishes I received Saturday on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram! Feeling blessed to see another year and to have so many great people around me. Can't wait to celebrate even more this weekend with my close blogger friends at my favorite tea house. Stay tuned!

Fall Walks

Photography by Elizabeth Keene

Sometimes a nice evening walk with a cup of coffee and a friend is exactly what the doctor ordered. It's also great when the two girls happen to be fashion bloggers and decide to take advantage of the beautiful scenery. That's exactly what Elizabeth and I did last week in Pasadena! Dressed up in our best fall gear, we snapped away and away. I cannot wait till it gets even colder and the smell of the holidays is in the air. Perhaps that's why I paired a red sweater with all the pretty bling details. It makes me feel as if we are already there.

Please join me this Sunday, 11/10 at a beauty/fashion charity shopping event benefiting No Kid Hungry. All the details are below and you buy your tickets here. Hope to see you there!

Floral Match

(Gold chain necklace c/o Shop Lately / Gold bracelets and earrings c/o Charlotte Russe / Express sunglasses)

Photography by Ryan Chua

Matching sets like this floral one from Savous are simply to die for! I dressed it up on a sunny day in Manhattan Beach and felt absolutely amazing in it. I also just have to mention the heels and bag are by Charlotte Russe. I love how both these sites carry trendy, affordable pieces that make you look like a million bucks without breaking the bank. Score!

All in all, it was an incredible day because I got to shoot with my favorite photographer, Ryan Chua. So the outfit, plus the locale, plus the company made everything complete. Stay tuned for more shoots with Ryan!

I wanted to say a quick thank you to Jessica from F.A.B Cocktail for naming me her Style Crush Monday! Check out what she wrote about me here.

Show Us Your Style Challenge

(BB Dakota leopard coat (personal) / Forever 21 C'est La Vie Sweater $24.80)
(Forever 21 Classic Slim Denim Jeans $7.80) / Forever 21 Bombshell Knee High Boots $39.80)
(Forever 21 Striped button up top $6.99 / H&M knuckle rings $4.95) / H&M Gold Arrow ring $4.95)
(Vintage Gucci Clutch (personal) / BCBGeneration "xoxo"bracelet from Bloomingdale's $16)
Total spent: $105.29

So excited to share my outfit for The Beverly Center Fall Style Challenge. Myself, along with several other LA based fashion bloggers, were asked to create a complete fall look under $125. I have to admit that only being able to use one accessory and one article of clothing from my own wardrobe was quite difficult. However, I was up and ready for the challenge! One of my favorite things about fall is being able to layer and that's exactly what I intended to do with this look! I found some amazing, affordable pieces from Forever 21 that allowed me to to incorporate many trends. I mixed a striped button up top with my own leopard coat, layered it with a graphic sweater and finished off the look by pairing it with dark denim and knee-high boots. I kept my accessories simple with gold rings and a statement bracelet. Last but not least, I added a pop of color with my own vintage leather Gucci clutch.

Please join me and all the other bloggers at The Beverly Center on October 17th where we will be judged by bloggers, Chriselle Lim, Shea Marie and Liz Cherkasova. The winner of the contest will go home with a $500 gift card!

Wish me luck and hope to see you all there!

Nine West: Flat vs. Heel x Two

(H&M faux leather shorts / Topshop blazer / Topshop pink top / Leopard heels c/o Nine West)

This is round two of my flat vs. heel collaboration with Nine West. If you don't remember, my first look (here) was more of a work day outfit so I went for a night look this time around. I prefer the heel but from the feedback I got from my first look, it seems some are loving the flats. I would love to know what you ladies prefer. Would you or do you wear flats for a night out?

I had an incredible week that reminded me how much I love blogging and how blessed I've been to have so many amazing opportunities. I'm still so excited about my feature on MSN which you can read here and I'm also incredibly thankful for all my Instagram followers that helped me reach my goal of 10K. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I'm walking a runway show for designer, Bri Seeley on October 10th with a bunch of LA bloggers and would love to see you all there! It's going to be an amazing night where all proceeds go to charity. For more information on the event, click here.

New York Fashion Week Day 4

(Outfit one: Dear Creature dresses c/o Dietch PR / Nine West leopard heels / Vintage Clutch)
(Outfit two: Topshop blazer, top and skirt / Sole Society Elisa heel / Vintage clutch and jewelry)

This picture diary was from my final day at New York Fashion Week. Elizabeth and I attended the Tracy Reese show (my new favorite designer) then headed out to different locations in the city to take some pictures. Our matching Dear Creature dresses with the NYC backdrop made us feel like we were on an episode of Sex and the City. Ahh how I miss that moment! To think that a random taxi cab driver captured it for us! That afternoon we also had some fun socializing at the Reward Style event at the Empire Hotel then that evening, we attended the Glam Media dinner with over 150 bloggers across the U.S to celebrate the launch of the Glam Style APP. The dinner was held at the Morimoto restaurant in Chelsea and I can't even begin to tell you how delicious it was. All in all, the trip to fashion week was amazing but exhausting. I can't wait to do it all over again!

Thanks for taking the trip down memory lane with me. Hope you enjoyed all my pictures and thanks for stopping by!
