New York Fashion Week Day 4

(Outfit one: Dear Creature dresses c/o Dietch PR / Nine West leopard heels / Vintage Clutch)
(Outfit two: Topshop blazer, top and skirt / Sole Society Elisa heel / Vintage clutch and jewelry)

This picture diary was from my final day at New York Fashion Week. Elizabeth and I attended the Tracy Reese show (my new favorite designer) then headed out to different locations in the city to take some pictures. Our matching Dear Creature dresses with the NYC backdrop made us feel like we were on an episode of Sex and the City. Ahh how I miss that moment! To think that a random taxi cab driver captured it for us! That afternoon we also had some fun socializing at the Reward Style event at the Empire Hotel then that evening, we attended the Glam Media dinner with over 150 bloggers across the U.S to celebrate the launch of the Glam Style APP. The dinner was held at the Morimoto restaurant in Chelsea and I can't even begin to tell you how delicious it was. All in all, the trip to fashion week was amazing but exhausting. I can't wait to do it all over again!

Thanks for taking the trip down memory lane with me. Hope you enjoyed all my pictures and thanks for stopping by!

Ending Summer in Triangl Swimwear

(California Coral Bikini c/o Triangl Swimwear)

Finishing the summer off right wearing the hottest bikini around by Triangl Swimwear. I hesitated to wear this on my blog as I am no model but I decided to be gutsy and go for it! The beauty of the bikini is the breathability of the neoprene material and how it conforms to your body giving it a nice lift. It also extenuates your natural shape which made me feel completely confident. I went with the California Coral color being a Cali girl myself but it comes in an array of other beautiful colors. Hopefully the warmer weather keeps up so I don't really have to say goodbye just yet.

Stay tuned for quite a few outfit posts this week. Hope you're enjoying the weekend and thanks for stopping by!

Nine West: Flat vs. Heel x One

(Leopard flat and heel c/o Nine West /Urban Philosophy tee / Topshop blazer / Quay Eyeware shades)
(Charlotte Russe white high-waisted denim, Studded Satchel bag and Heart ID necklace)

I've always been known as a flat shoe forgoer but have recently realized that it's completely unrealistic. Perhaps it's because I love how heels gives me an extra boost in height to my short 5'2 frame. However, I don't always love the blisters and pain it comes with at the end of the day. I just recently began incorporating more flats into my wardrobe so when Nine West reached out to me to do a flat vs. heel look, I was excited! I've been a fan of Nine West for many years and knew either way, flat or heel, I was going to love it. I decided to do three looks all together so this first one is for a typical workday. We all know that we start out working in a heel but always end up in flats. I knew pairing either shoe with high-waisted denim, a graphic tee (that just happens to say #bosslady. Perfection!) and a blazer would work. Now the question is... Which look is best? Flat or heel? We would love to know which is your favorite!

Stay tuned for my other two flat vs. heel looks and thanks for stopping by!

New York Fashion Week Day Three

(Asos Sequined Jacket / Zara crop top / Kahlo leather skirt c/o Dietch PR / Nasty Gal hat)
(Steve Madden Magnetik Heel / Vintage Bally clutch)

Outfit pictures taken by Ryan Chua

Another magnificent day at New York Fashion Week which consisted of the Herve Leger and the Mara Hoffman show, photo shoots with the amazing Ryan Chua and my boo, Joann. An awesome footwear shot with fellow fashion bloggers, Laura, Roxy and Joann. The Refresh Lookbook party was super fun because I got to take advantage of the photo booth (of course!) and met some really cool peeps. The best part though? Wearing my awesome sequined jacket by Asos that I got on sale for thirty bucks that made me feel like a million bucks. Sequins and stripes just makes a girl feel fabulous! Stay tuned for my final look at NYFW.

New York Fashion Week Day Two

(Topshop blazer / Luna B crop top / In My Air trousers / Nasty Gal Cutout Bootie)
                                                                                           (Senhoa Foundation Necklace)
Outfit pictures taken by Joann Doan

Day two was by far the most memorable for me at New York Fashion Week. I had the opportunity to attend the Nasty Gal Shoe Cult brunch with quite a few bloggers j'adore. I also got to attend the Rebecca Minkoff show where Janelle Monet performed and hung out with a few of my babes, Jamie, Mel and Marta. Oh and it was my favorite outfit out of all the days so a big thanks to my boo, Joann for convincing me to wear my hair up for a change. My hair hasn't been down since! Stay tuned for more of my NYFW diary.

New York Fashion Week Day One

(Topshop top and cuff joggers / Steve Madden Macall Gold heel c/o Kravetz PR / Vintage bag and Jewelry)

Outfit pictures taken by Ryan Chua

I'm back from New York and already having major withdrawals. Fashion Week lived up to everything I expected plus more! This was my first experience going to the shows and although it was exhausting, it's  definitely something I will never forget. I was also reminded quite a few times why I used to love living in this city. The everyday hustle and bustle, crazy New Yorkers getting angry and just looking up to see the beauty of it all. Hope you enjoyed my day one outfit that was taken after the BCBG Maxazria show plus some cute pics of my girls, Elizabeth, Joann and Jenny. Stay tuned for more fashion week looks!

Thank you to everyone who entered my giveaway with Nasty Gal! The lucky winner was chosen at random at it is... Theresa Nguyen! Congrats and expect an email shortly!
