Pumpkin Picking

(Forever 21 cardigan / Rad crop top c/o Dailylook / Nasty Gal hat / Plaid leggings c/o Evleo)

Photos by Laura Yazdi

My fall outfit to the pumpkin patch consisted of a few trends rolled into one easy, comfy look. Right now, anything plaid with an oversize sweater paired with boots is the best way to look cute without even having to try. Since the weather is still warm and perfect in LA, I layered a graphic crop top underneath. In fact, "RAD" is the perfect word to describe Shawn's Pumpkin Patch in Culver City. I definitely recommend checking it out! So much fun!

Pretty Little Yellow Dress

Everyone needs a little sunshine in their life. In the fashion world, that means wearing some bright colors. I channeled exactly that by wearing this short yellow dress with gold accessories. My faux fur vest and red clutch made their second and definitely not last appearance this week. Completely obsessing over them so I apologize in advance if you see them in many future outfit posts. Thank you Charlotte Russe for giving me the sunshine I've always needed.

Hope to see you all tonight at the Beverly center for an amazing event hosted by these fab bloggers!

Faux Fur for Fall

 Photos by Emily Kolberg

Fall may be well underway with my favorite holiday (Halloween) right around the corner, but the heat has not yet subsided here in sunny, Los Angeles! Thank goodness for faux fur vests like this one from Style Says to keep me cool in the heat. I love how I can just throw it on with a short skirt, a loose tank and shades and pretend like everyday is summer. Oh and how about that pop of red?! So good!

Hope you can join me at the Beverly Center this Thursday for a fun blogger event where one of us will win a $500 gift card. Please vote for my under $125 look here for your chance to win a $1000 gift card. How amazing is that?!

Show Us Your Style Challenge

(BB Dakota leopard coat (personal) / Forever 21 C'est La Vie Sweater $24.80)
(Forever 21 Classic Slim Denim Jeans $7.80) / Forever 21 Bombshell Knee High Boots $39.80)
(Forever 21 Striped button up top $6.99 / H&M knuckle rings $4.95) / H&M Gold Arrow ring $4.95)
(Vintage Gucci Clutch (personal) / BCBGeneration "xoxo"bracelet from Bloomingdale's $16)
Total spent: $105.29

So excited to share my outfit for The Beverly Center Fall Style Challenge. Myself, along with several other LA based fashion bloggers, were asked to create a complete fall look under $125. I have to admit that only being able to use one accessory and one article of clothing from my own wardrobe was quite difficult. However, I was up and ready for the challenge! One of my favorite things about fall is being able to layer and that's exactly what I intended to do with this look! I found some amazing, affordable pieces from Forever 21 that allowed me to to incorporate many trends. I mixed a striped button up top with my own leopard coat, layered it with a graphic sweater and finished off the look by pairing it with dark denim and knee-high boots. I kept my accessories simple with gold rings and a statement bracelet. Last but not least, I added a pop of color with my own vintage leather Gucci clutch.

Please join me and all the other bloggers at The Beverly Center on October 17th where we will be judged by bloggers, Chriselle Lim, Shea Marie and Liz Cherkasova. The winner of the contest will go home with a $500 gift card!

Wish me luck and hope to see you all there!

Gold with Blue Details

          Photography by Elizabeth Keene

It's been scorching hot in LA so this outfit is clearly the furthest thing from fall fashion. I will enjoy it for what it is, because I can continue to have mint details in my wardrobe choices. These shorts are also perfect to wear to stay cool and the paisley print is just so darn pretty. Perhaps somewhere out there, some lovely fashionistas are layering up for the cooler weather wishing they were here! The grass is always greener.

As I mentioned in my last post, I'm walking a runway show for designer, Bri Seeley on October 10th. It's going to be an amazing night where all proceeds go to charity. For more information on the event, click here.

Happy Monday and thanks for stopping by!

Nine West: Flat vs. Heel x Two

(H&M faux leather shorts / Topshop blazer / Topshop pink top / Leopard heels c/o Nine West)

This is round two of my flat vs. heel collaboration with Nine West. If you don't remember, my first look (here) was more of a work day outfit so I went for a night look this time around. I prefer the heel but from the feedback I got from my first look, it seems some are loving the flats. I would love to know what you ladies prefer. Would you or do you wear flats for a night out?

I had an incredible week that reminded me how much I love blogging and how blessed I've been to have so many amazing opportunities. I'm still so excited about my feature on MSN which you can read here and I'm also incredibly thankful for all my Instagram followers that helped me reach my goal of 10K. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I'm walking a runway show for designer, Bri Seeley on October 10th with a bunch of LA bloggers and would love to see you all there! It's going to be an amazing night where all proceeds go to charity. For more information on the event, click here.
