Style Trend: Crop top with High Waist Pants

(Nasty Gal crop tank / Charlotte Russe pants / Forever 21 cardigan / Nasty Gal Shoe Cult boot / Dailylook bag)

Photography by Ryan Chua

This Nasty Gal crop top was made in edgy look heaven and these Shoe Cult wedge boots were made for walking. Out of all the styles out there, edgy is by far my favorite and Nasty Gal provides that to me and so much more. I know, I know, I've been saying this for awhile now. I'm just a girl who likes what she likes. Why change if it works!

Yesterday was Thanksgiving, so I just wanted to take a moment to be a bit corny since I'm in a sentimental mood! As each year passes, I'm learning to be more thankful and appreciative of all the amazing people in my life. I lost some friends this past year but gained a few more that have showed me what a true friend is supposed to be. For that, I am forever thankful.  I hope you all had an amazing Thanksgiving with your family and friends!

Casual Day Wear

(Blazer c/o Miss Me Jeans / Leggings c/o Evleo LA / Grey tee c/o Mootta / Bag c/o JustFab)

Photography by Elizabeth Keene
My staple wardrobe pieces these days are consisting of tees, leggings, beanies, boots and a lightweight jacket. Thank goodness the weather is still warm and beautiful here in LA that I can get away with it. However, I'm thinking that I may have to do something dramatic after Thanksgiving just to get myself in the holiday spirit. I'm thinking either a menswear inspired look or something so glam that it will leave everyone shocked. Stay tuned to see what I do!

On a side note, I'm co-hosting an Uno de 50 event with Donna from Sunny n Blue, Nikki from My Style Diaries and Joann from Love Fashion Live Life. Refreshments will be served along with a raffle and a 10% discount for guests. Hope to see you all at Fashion Island, Newport Beach on Friday, December 6th 6:30-9pm.

Everyday Living

 Photography by Ryan Chua

As a fashion blogger, I love to show how you can dress up or down for any occasion you may be headed to. However, I'm also a realist and realistically, no girl dresses up everyday. So for today's post, I wanted to show my usual side, the casual, easy wear of everyday living. What is my go to look? Denim and leather jackets that I wear for daytime errands and nighttime events. I know many of you can relate because let's be honest, sometimes it just feels nice to get ready in less than twenty minutes. It's real and I like being real.

I want to share a new show I'm doing with fellow blogger gals, Elizabeth and Roxy called, "Fashion Patrol." The show is similar to "Fashion Police" on E! but with our own spin of course. You can watch the first episode HERE and stay tuned every other week for more fashion chats and guest appearances.

Une Fille Parisienne

Photography by Elizabeth Keene

Feeling like a french school girl in this outfit which was not actually my goal while putting it together. While looking in the mirror, I realized something about stripes, with a pop of red, paired with a hat and flats just screams, Paris! Even though I've never been, this is just what I just imagine it to be. I really must make a trip one day soon which will give me a perfect excuse to brush up on my french before I go. I want to be able to say, j'ai deux amours; mon pays et Paris!

I want to thank everyone for the lovely birthday wishes I received Saturday on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram! Feeling blessed to see another year and to have so many great people around me. Can't wait to celebrate even more this weekend with my close blogger friends at my favorite tea house. Stay tuned!

Fall Walks

Photography by Elizabeth Keene

Sometimes a nice evening walk with a cup of coffee and a friend is exactly what the doctor ordered. It's also great when the two girls happen to be fashion bloggers and decide to take advantage of the beautiful scenery. That's exactly what Elizabeth and I did last week in Pasadena! Dressed up in our best fall gear, we snapped away and away. I cannot wait till it gets even colder and the smell of the holidays is in the air. Perhaps that's why I paired a red sweater with all the pretty bling details. It makes me feel as if we are already there.

Please join me this Sunday, 11/10 at a beauty/fashion charity shopping event benefiting No Kid Hungry. All the details are below and you buy your tickets here. Hope to see you there!

Floral Match

(Gold chain necklace c/o Shop Lately / Gold bracelets and earrings c/o Charlotte Russe / Express sunglasses)

Photography by Ryan Chua

Matching sets like this floral one from Savous are simply to die for! I dressed it up on a sunny day in Manhattan Beach and felt absolutely amazing in it. I also just have to mention the heels and bag are by Charlotte Russe. I love how both these sites carry trendy, affordable pieces that make you look like a million bucks without breaking the bank. Score!

All in all, it was an incredible day because I got to shoot with my favorite photographer, Ryan Chua. So the outfit, plus the locale, plus the company made everything complete. Stay tuned for more shoots with Ryan!

I wanted to say a quick thank you to Jessica from F.A.B Cocktail for naming me her Style Crush Monday! Check out what she wrote about me here.
