Floral and Lace

Photography by Elizabeth Keene

Happy Monday! Today, I want to share my newest obsession as of late... lace shorts from Windsor store! I'm lucky enough to live in Los Angeles where this year, winter is practically non existent and shorts are perfectly acceptable. I wore this floral lace pair with a simple beige sweater and awesome accessories (cat eye shades and hat) for a casual day in Manhattan Beach. Stay tuned, my next post I'll be wearing a similar pair but more dressed up for brunch in downtown LA. Can't wait to share!

Denim Collaboration

Photography by Linh Winn

Happy Wednesday everyone! I'm excited to share this denim collaboration I did with fellow fashion blogger, Laura Boswell. I decided to pair my favorite skinny jeans with my new amazing nude heels from JustFab and a matching nude leather jacket. I finished off the look with with oxblood accessories. I realized it's been awhile since I've worn a hat and I literally used to live in them. Felt so good to wear one again! Since denim is always on my go-to list, it's important for me to mix, match and change it up a bit so I'm not always repeating myself. I live for the challenge!

I love how Laura paired her denim with a bright printed top and chic accessories. How awesome are her jeans though?! I need a pair in my life! For more pics and details, check out her full post HERE.

White x Green x Blue x Two

Remixed this color combination for a more dressed down style compared to my last. This cardigan from Charlotte Russe has been my staple piece every since it showed up on my doorstep. I just love anything over-sized and comfy. As you guys know, I like to re-wear things that I own multiple times to show that you don't always need to buy new things. If you're on a constant budget like I am, mixing old and new pieces is the way to go! Makes it more of a challenge to be creative and that's just the way I like it.

I want to take a quick moment and talk about this hair site I came across called, www.seekhair.co.uk

I'm a huge fan of hair extensions, and have tried everything from individual clip-ins, to sewed in and even the taped in ones. After checking out this site, I now want to try weft hair extensions because it looks so much easier than the previous options. It's one piece of 100% human hair that attaches at the top and falls like a curtain creating a loose but not bulky look. Seek Hair offers them in a variety of types, textures and colors to choose from so you can match it to your own hair for a nice, natural look. I definitely want to try both the straight and wavy look above! Have any of you tried this before? Would love to hear your feedback!

White x Green x Blue

Photography by Lee Shale

So excited to share this post with you guys! I teamed up with GLO/ MSN and 8 other bloggers to create a look under $100. I love these types of blogger challenges because you definitely have to put your creative thinking cap on. I'm a budget friendly fashion blogger so this was right up my alley. For the look, I decided to go with simple yet classic in my favorite color mix of the moment. I also just want to mention that my 80 year old father took these pics! I think he did a pretty good job.

All you need is LOVE is all you need!

Photography by Crystal Kong

When Crystal asked me to collaborate with her on a fun Valentine's Day shoot, I knew this pink jumper from Gypsy05 was perfect for the occasion. Her and I have shot against this Curtis Kulig love wall before but this one definitely takes the cake. It was the most fun shoot I've done for my blog in a very long time! But when balloons and a wall full of love are involved, how could it not be?! What is everyone else wearing on Valentine's Day? Would love to know!

Living in Basics

This is part three in my fringe leather jacket that I warned you about in my last post. I can't promise that it will be my last time wearing it but don't worry, I'll be putting it to rest for a little while. I went for a casual, basic look this time around just to show the jacket's versatility. Dressed up or down, it pairs perfectly either way. I'm so happy that it finally cooled down in LA because I can finally start wearing my beanies and scarves again! I've got an awesome new collection of both from BMC Headwear that I'll be rocking on my blog soon so stay tuned.

I'm excited to be co-hosting my second event as a style ambassador for Covet Fashion called, "Debutante." Please join in on all the app fun when the event launches this Friday, 2/7/14 at 12pm PST.
