How to Throw an Epic Bachelorette Party in Los Angeles

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Party City and InterContinental Hotels  and Resorts. The opinions and text are all mine.

Your big day is around the corner and all the pieces are coming together, but if you’re like most girls you’re not just planning your wedding, you’re also planning other events for you and your best gals to celebrate your pending nuptials. Whether it’s your bridal shower or a sure-to-be wild bachelorette party, there’s so much to get excited for leading up to your wedding! Thanks to Party City, InterContinental Hotels and Resorts and ShopStyle, I was able to throw an epic bachelorette weekend with my bridal party. It’s always a fun time with my girls, but what made it special was having us all together in a great location with the perfect bachelorette décor and props to make it complete. Below you will find a list of my tips from picking a location to props that get the party going and to planning an itinerary to help you throw the perfect bachelorette weekend.

Location and accommodations::

Since the majority of my bridal party and I live in Los Angeles, The InterContinental Hotel in downtown Los Angeles was a great location for all of us to get together for an exciting weekend. For me, less travel to a destination meant more quality time together and allowed us to explore all that the hotel and city had to offer! I also thought that since I’m having a destination wedding in Italy, having a local bachelorette party would be best. If you’re currently planning your bachelorette party and want to have it in Los Angeles, I can’t recommend The InterContinental Hotel enough. Not only does the InterContinental offer luxurious and sophisticated accommodations, it’s situated next to all the new trendy shopping, dining and nightlife areas. Here’s more information on the hotel and its offerings:

About the accommodations:

InterContinental Hotel is a new luxury hotel located in Downtown Los Angeles situated high above the city at 73 stories high with breathtaking 360-degree views of the city. This cosmopolitan hotel offers large spacious rooms, each with amazing views of Los Angeles. I was so impressed with the beautiful modern décor, comfortable beds, room service and mini bar amenities. A huge plus was the large marble bathroom that were perfect for all of us to get ready in together.

Dining & Bar options:

The hotel has several dining options with a variety of delicious cuisines so you can try something new each night you’re there. We had a chance to visit a few of the restaurants and I’ve listed more about them individually below:

La Boucherie: This American steakhouse sits high on the 72nd floor boasting panoramic views of the L.A. skyline. It’s menu features classics such as steaks and seafood, created with the finest ingredients from around the world. We didn’t get to try this restaurant, but it’s on my list to go back and experience.

Dekkadance:

Located on the 69th floor, Dekkadance offers a unique farm-to-fork international dining experience featuring globally-inspired entrées changing daily as well as carving stations, seafood, brick oven-fired pizzas, cheese & charcuterie, house-made desserts, and more. This was our go-to place each morning for breakfast during our stay and it also provided a great opportunity to hand out my bridal party gift bags.

Sora: Sora is an intimate sushi and omakase restaurant offering a refined menu of fresh-cut sushi and prepared dishes presented on the sky-view conveyor belt with bar seating. Since Sushi is one of my favorite cuisines, I picked this as our Saturday night dining option. It was so delicious that I’m going to go back and bring my fiancé to try it!

Spire 73:

Located on the 73rd floor is Spire 73 – the tallest open-air bar in the Western Hemisphere. This rooftop lounge offers breathtaking views of the entire city with delicious signature cocktails. Watching the sunset before dinner here on Saturday evening was magical.

Lobby Lounge:

Located on the 70th floor, the Lobby Lounge offers guests an upscale lounge experience with a vodka bar at night, serving light snacks, burgers and sandwiches. When we arrived Friday evening, we were looking for a quicker dining experience so we chose this spot to meet and go over the weekends plans!

No Dive Bar:

Enjoy outdoor cocktails and poolside fare, located on the 7th floor rooftop. On Saturday after breakfast, we wanted to do a quick tour of the hotel and came across this cute bar by the pool. We had a quick drink before heading to our next stop on the itinerary.

Itinerary:

I like to stick to an itinerary so we can have the perfect mix of relaxing and party time. I didn’t want the girls to feel overwhelmed with too much of this and too little of that. Finding the perfect balance is key to any weekend trip! Here is the itinerary we followed:
