Girls Getaway at Westlake Village Inn
For the last few years, my girlfriends, Laura and Elizabeth have been telling me about the beautiful Westlake Village Inn, located just 45 minutes away from Los Angeles. I finally got to see this hidden gem for myself a few weekends ago when they invited me for a fun girls getaway. Upon arrival, I was in absolute awe and immediately felt like I was back in Tuscany. The property is filled with bougainvillea and flowers at every turn, has two pools, an amazing spa and a few delicious dining options. If you’re looking for a relaxing weekend away from the city, I can’t recommend this place enough. Sharing more from our trip below!
We stayed in the beautiful Villa Azul, a two-bedroom, two-bathroom suite with a large living room, front and back patio and private jacuzzi. The back patio was right above the family-friendly pool and offered amazing views of the property. The villa fit the four of us girls perfectly and we made ourselves right at home.
We arrived on a Sunday and had the opportunity to attend their annual Rosé All May celebration at The Stonehaus, one of the on property restaurants. If you love wine tasting and have been to different wine country regions, then you will love the atmosphere of this restaurant. The Stonehaus is a coffee house by morning then transitions into a European -style winery for lunch and dinner. Nestled in it’s own private vineyard, it’s the perfect spot to relax and enjoy outdoor seating, and to indulge in different wine tastings and delicious menu options. The Rosé event had live music, an oyster truck and of course, plenty of Rosé and other wines! After the event, we decided to have our own little picnic outside our villa where we enjoyed two cheese and charcuterie boards and more wine!
We had dinner that evening at Mediterraneo located right next door to Stonehaus. It was honestly one of the best dining experiences I’ve had and with the best company. We ordered so many mouth watering dishes including lemon parmesan broccoli, cacio è pepe pasta, meatballs, grilled branzino and more. We couldn’t resist ending the dinner with a butter cake dessert!

The following morning, we ordered room service and enjoyed it on our front patio. We decided to spend the rest of the morning exploring the property then head to the pool. We opted to walk but they do have bike rental options which I definitely want to do on my next visit.
Westlake Village Inn offers two pools, a family-friendly one located directly below our suite and an adult only pool located near the restaurants. We decided to grab to-go lunch at Stonehaus and relax at the family-friendly pool since it was closer to our villa. The weather was amazing and the water was perfect! Honestly, it was just what I needed to relax and prepare for the upcoming work week.
